Honest question: how will a Hillary/Trump debate actually take place?

2 minutes into a first debate...Trump will say "Crooked Hillary", "Liar", and dismount with "You should be in jail" in the middle of her talking. No matter what the first question is, Trump will just yell "Crooked Hillary will be a terrible President" like 10 times.

....and off they go.

So how on earth will a reasonable debate ever take place? Will Hillary walk off the set at any point? Will there be cursing? Vegas odds on a "**** you"?

It's going to be awesome. I didn't like Trump attacking my guys but watching him go after the jailbird is going to be excellent.

I think it will be very entertaining because no matter how much you dislike Trump, nobody on the right has ever had the balls to go after the democrats in a live debate. Not even democrats go after democrats. If he goes into the debates with just Hilary's actual record, it's going to be fun TV.

You mean, besides Reagan?

.

Since the debate will mostly be comments about how terrible and unqualified the other candidate is, it will be the most honest and truthful presidential debate we've had in decades.

I assume you just mean the things they say about each other...but not their comments on their own merit, right? Trump hasnt said a truthful thing about himself yet, has he?

If 50% of the scandals are true, never in the history of the United States has such a corrupt person run for President, that is not opinion, those are facts. Not even Reagan ran against such corruption. Trump was correct today, Hillary turned the state department into a cash machine, look no further than the Clinton foundation. Not even Reagan went after Carter hard, he did not have to, Carter was a complete 100% failure but unlike Obama he did not have this type of media behind him.

The republicans danced around Obama's lack of experience and corruption. The House decided today to start legislation on taking power back from a runaway president, not the past seven years but today because for the first time in a very long time the presidency has a chance to not fall to the establishment and they are scared to death.

I love how there's an assertion that Hillary is above the crap throwing that Trump will dish. He just did the exact same to 16 Republicans who typically would lay out comprehensive ideas but were forced to counter his insane ramblings on stage. If they can take it and dish it out then so can she.

It'll be interesting when he debates to the left of HIllary on a lot of issues though. He's going to once again go full protectionist (ala Sanders) on her, hit her on her support for various past wars, including her Libya debacle, and he's going to ramble insane things about how he'd meet with Kim Jong Un.

How will she respond when he hits her on the Goldman transcripts? Email scandal? Libya mess? Clinton Foundation foreign shadow donations? Sanders didn't even attempt to hit her on these things, while Trump will go full on nuclear.

It'll be entertaining at least.

85, those are all conspiracy theories in the crazy world of the left. Hillary is the great female hope to bring all women out of the kitchen and into the board room.

I'm still giving it a chance that he walks away before the convention. I am not totally convinced that this guy actually wants to be President or have to deal with the things that come with being President.

He had $1.3M in his campaign coffers just yesterday and doesn't seem to have anywhere near the money he claims to- if he did he'd just write himself a massive check.

It would be FANTASTIC if he walked right before the convention. It would throw everything into turmoil, but could result in someone worth voting for.

He just forgave a $50,000,000 campaign loan, people that don't have billions don't do that.

I think the debates will tell us whether ...
  1. He really wants to be President
  2. He just wants to make a good showing, and lose -- he's certainly earned a lot of business from his adventure so far (the media has reported the opposite, which isn't true)
  3. He really was a plant and/or ran just to get Hillary elected
I didn't believe any conspiracy theories on #3 until recently, only thinking #2 was possible. But he lack of fundraising for the Republicans -- of which a party gets 66-75% of the party's total budget for all campaigns from the Presidential candidate's fundraising -- pretty much told me that's the case. It's more than just his ego at work now, so I have to believe #3 is not outside the realm of possibility.

That said, if Trump is sharp and well prepped, he could literally slaughter Hillary on everything from her past policies to her hypocritical sexist card -- "Always believe women by default in the case of sexual assault" followed by "Legitimate accusations only" when the media grills her on how that works in the case of her husband. But right now, he's just firing from the hip too much, and I really believe he's still #2.

I mean, Hillary has been a chronic f'up. Her criticizing Trump on veterans fund raising backfired. She and her husband had mid 8 figures in one year, and 9 figures of income aggregate over the last decade -- possibly more than Trump's income (again, income, not wealth) -- and either donated high 5 or barely 6 figures to veterans charities, many small-time, unranked ones, like a golf event.
