The Oldsmar Christian basketball team will be coming to Saturday night's game.
Oldsmar Christian graduated most of their key contributors from last season (two are at Florida, one is at UNLV) and one transferred to West Oaks Academy. This season they have a new head coach, John Bianchi, who was an assistant last season for the varsity team as well as being the JV team's head coach.
Oldsmar features four-star 2018 guard Elijah Weaver and 2017 three-star big man Michael Durr.
Weaver is ranked the No. 24 prospect in the junior class.
Durr transferred to Oldsmar recently from Westlake HS in Atlanta. He ranked No. 131 in the Rivals150 as recently as February but fell out when we did our last update.
Next Saturday (9/10) a coach from UCF and UCONN will be at Oldsmar Christian to watch the team work out.
