...for not speaking with them---with him there sitting in the room! I kid you not.

I've already said I could give a rat's ass about what happens to the President's son. But this stunt is bullsh*t at its finest.

With Hunter Biden in the audience, the panel voted to hold him in contempt for....not meeting with their committee IN PRIVATE!!!!

Hunter's lawyer is telling the committee if they want to question him --- have at it!!! --- but do it in public so everyone can hear the committee questions and Hunter's answers. Normally, elected officials LOVE to pontificate in front of the TV cameras. Why should questioning Hunter Biden be any different?

As if this wasn't bad enough, Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina asked, “Who bribed Hunter Biden to be here today?” She called Biden’s appearance “the epitome of White privilege” and --- GET THIS: --- questioned his Manhood for....refusing to testify to them behind closed doors. 🤪

The house Republicans are a complete mess. That was pretty funny by Hunter.

The public questioning is simply for show, the real work happens in private session. Do you think the Jan 6 committee just jumped right into public questioning? Answer....NO!

Public sessions are designed to sway public opinion and make the congressmen/women who do the questions look good.

The problem is these Republicans have shown they will spin whatever is said in a closed door deposition to fit their narrative, which is what they did with Devon Archer. They went on tv saying one thing, then when the transcripts came out, it showed they were lying about what Archer said. They also initially said Hunter could testify publicly or privately, but when he chose publicly they took that off the table. They want it private so they can control the narrative.

exactly like dems Jan 6 hearings. not only the spinning which both sides do, but choosing who to or not to bring in for public hearings.
Yeah, the Jan 6th hearings did a whole lot of "spinning" having Trump's own White House people testify under oath.

Ha, Hunter Biden's mousey stunt saying he'll only testify in a public hearing was countered by the House Committee who voted to hold him in contempt any. Their strategy worked!!!

The sniveling, little coward finally had the balls to agree to testify in their private hearing.
