Houston coach: Why aren't we selling out games?

All of this has combined to make the Cougars one of the best Group of Five teams in the country, and a team vying for the American Athletic Conference title -- which will be among the toughest conference championships to win this season.

Herman, understandably, feels that the team has done its part to put an entertaining product on the field. Now he wants the fans to show them support on a regular basis. When asked what Houston fans can do on his weekly radio show, Herman had this to say.

"To me, we're not selling out every home game," said Herman on his radio show. "I would ask why? What more do you need to see? You need better product on the field or more exciting games? I'm confused when I ask Cougar Nation why are you not at every home game? I get some really blank stares sometimes because the answer is ‘Coach, I don't have a reason.' There isn't a good reason.”
