With UNC losing, Houston will be the AP ranked number 1 team assuming they win against Kent State Sunday. Will this be the first AAC team ranked #1 since UCONN won the national championship after the 2013-14 season?

It will be the first in season #1 ranking in conference history. UConn in 2013 was actually a 7 seed in the tourney that year so a big upset that they won the title.
