How is our defense so bad?

How is it possible that our defensive units back in CUSA were way better than the trash Gus has now? It will be rare for a Gus offense to put up 24 points in game, so if he’s still around, at least get a hungry DC and clean house, Please!!!

Think of all the GOL defensive players who made it to the NFL, regardless of how many stars they had. Frost was only here 2 years and brought in Richie Grant and Mike Hughes, both with NFL starts. Gus puts zero focus on defense and it shows.

Agree. The ten yard cushions n failure to adjust on the run is crazy They cannot get off blockers at all. Looks like they have never been coached.

frost also brought in 2nd round (as a true junior) DT trysten hill, the hardest position to recruit at the G5 level.
