However many, they were loud and supportive of UCF. Apparently, the Knights travel well. Except for the score, I hope that they had an enjoyable experience in Ann Arbor and at the Stadium.I don't know how to find official numbers, but I was in section 51 row 15 right next to the student section and there was at least one UCF group in each row by me.
Hammer: Please post pictures. Love to see them. I was up before classes started last year, so it was really "sleepy." Any leaves starting to change -- probably not with all the hot weather. Takes a cool spell. So hard to tell in a stadium that big. Even 5,000 people is like a drop in a bucket among 100,000. Ann Arbor really is a beautiful college town to be in this time of year.

Wow! Thanks. Take any pics of you guys out and about? Many of the people we met have ties to FL one way or another - they either spend their winters down here or they know plenty of people who have relocated to FL, so that was interesting too.
Here's a few shots from the UCF section:

Yes. Definitely. So more fans than USF had at their home game?
eh, fans are safe in Michigan Stadium unless they are from tOSU or Michigan State. This is the B1G not the SEC !!That's bush when a school doesn't give a visiting school a solid section. It is also dangerous mixing fans from opposing sides. It's not safe to brings spouses and kids. A visitor section also creates a healthier competition as to who can cheer louder.
I was really brave with my seats this time, but I'll think twice about it if I hear things like I heard when UCF visited Virginia Tech.
Any plans for a future Michigan game??? I would love to go back there or to Notre Dame. Maybe Danny White can pull it off. We don't have to play them at home as part of the agreement.
A trip to Wisconsin would be fun. I hear Madison is another must-see college town.
Madison is a great place to visit on a football weekend. It's an elite public flagship but they play a little football. Don't visit too late in the fall or you will quickly learn why "Jump Around" was developed -- so cold in that stadium that you can't feel your body let alone your fingers, toes and face. The beer freezes on the sidewalks post game. Ha, a great trip !A trip to Wisconsin would be fun. I hear Madison is another must-see college town.
So that's where the UCF section was; we could not for the life of us find it. We were sitting right next to the UM student section on the left side a little less than halfway up in that first picture. From our side it was hard to tell navy blue from black. I thought we were strewn throughout the stadium. It was quiet where we were sitting, the students were loud with their organized chants but otherwise-meh. Most people were very nice, and got many compliments on the UCF turnout and play.
