How did I get what from where? UCF told Marcus he could wear Nike and when Adidas got butthurt they still honored their word.
 
not bothering to read article. I remember it well. Marcus wanted to play here, but wanted to wear his dads shoe brand. Adidas originally told UCF OK, then changed its mind. We promised the kid, and had permission for him to wear them, we stood by the kid. Nike stepped in and did their deal instead.
