This is officially a full on dumpster fire. Attendance has already taken a hit. Recruits are scrambling for the exits. We’re switching play calling responsibilities for the umpteenth time. Giving responsibility back to guys who were demoted. It’s just such a cluster and projects desperation externally.
I understand the financial ramifications are steep, but I just don’t see how Terry can let this continue another year or two unless by some miracle we rally to make a bowl. The long term financial consequences of keeping Gus (ticket sales, donations, recruiting suffering, future realignment) feel more severe than the short term cost of moving on.
If we drop the next two to fall to 3-7, I think you have to make the move. Get a jump start on finding the right guy to come in and stabilize things and try to salvage the recruiting class
