Yes, there will be a rebuilding process. But I don't think it's as bad as some people think. There is talent on this team, we saw it come through in spurts throughout the season. There were some games I think we could have perhaps won, but players just gave up and didn't give it 100% effort. I think that Frost will bring a new energy to this team, that he will be able to get more out of them than GOL and his staff were able to.
In addition, I think Frost will be able to bring in better recruits than GOL. Kids like the kind of excitement that his style of play brings about. In addition, there are little things - like uniforms, helmets, etc - that kids really like nowadays. Things that GOL just didn't seem to grasp.
I think next year UCF is bowl eligible, and the following year we should be back competing for the conference title.
