I guess that I was comparing how Frost acted when he decided! He publicly announced it and made it clear. The other similarity is there's also a senior quarterback who has to learn a totally different system. So we can directly compare how he parses thing next week with what he said just last year at this time!

Here are some of the facts.

Adams was hurt for parts of at least 4 games during the season and the offense suffered terribly during that time. They went 2-2. He was also hurt in the first half in their bowl game which they lost as their opponent mounted a huge comeback. So.,, they really only lost to a good Michigan State team by about 3 points on the road with him as QB. Not too shabby for a one year player.

That gives us a lot of hope for this year with the QB situation as I trust Frost will make the right choice. The major difference obviously is that the system is new to the whole team and we don't yet have Oregon talent or experienced players.

Oregon's offense once again was near the top of the nation statistically when he was in there. He certainly wasn't Mariota, but he was extremely productive in his short time at Oregon and they had some nice wins. The defense failed them at times

In my opinion they need to design more running plays with Holman in the run. Give him the option to pass across the middle. I also hope we use some trick plays....you know, some things we have not seen in ...hmmm...10 years!
