I am wondering if there is one person who believed UCF was going to win

I would like to meet that person because he or she has an exceptional view of ya ya land. I would like to have an meeting with this mental genus .

Thought we had a better chance of winning last night than we did in the Fiesta Bowl. No telling what the outcome would have been if Holman doesn't get hurt early.

Don't know anyone that thought there was a good chance we would win, but if we had something resembling an offense that game would've been close.

I predicted a win, but really didn't expect one. At the beginning of the year I expected 1-1 now and 2-2 occ. I now expect 1-3 OCC. The AAC is looking tougher than expected which is good and bad. I still think a bowl bid is very doable. I would have been more confident if Holoman hadn't got hurt.

How does one "predict a win" without expecting one? It seems to me that predictions should be based on expectations 100 percent of the time.

I expected a win because I believed that we had the talent to pull it off (which I still believe). I expected a win because we have had a winning program more often than not over the last five or six years. If a few plays go a little bit differently, it makes a huge difference in the score. If Holman doesn't get hurt, if Stanback doesn't fumble, if Tre Neal makes that interception, etc. It's a bunch of "ifs," yes (insert "UCiF" jokes here), but what I'm saying is that every college football game has turning points, and a team should do whatever it can to make the plays necessary to create those breaks you need to get a win. The day that I watch a UCF game thinking that there is no chance of victory is the day I give up being a fan. I've seen too many upsets occur in college football (including a few upsets UCF has pulled off, by the way) to think that there is never any hope of winning going into any game.

With Holman in the game, we could have kept the defense off of the field and had a shot. BUT the GOL staff still would have found a way to lose...... We have the talent, just terrible coaching.

After watching that game. If we had Holman, yes I believe we could have won. Not before, but after.

I was there. Imagine how many penalties they would have had with him throwing? Wasn't impressed with their rush, DBs, or secondary. It's ashame.

Offensively, they had McCafferty who was everything and Bryce who broke the long one, but if a linebacker woke up, it's a short gain. That was like 3rd and 20 I believe.

Stanback's fumble and the fleak flicker hurt. We would have had a few more short yardage defensive plays with Anderson. That was a huge loss this year.

By the way.., look up Stanback's high school track numbers. 10.83 100 meters and 21.71 200 meters. That's fast for a big guy in high school. Geez, the guy was a stud. What the hell happened to him???

No confidence? Injured? A complete shocker.

There's no way Holman could have put up more points vs Stanford than FIU.

Yes.. Different players too. Some have gained experience as well

Pick score, everyone was going with loss so I did win just to go against the flow. I really didn't think we would win, but that was my prediction

you have to be kidding me..maybe with Blake but you need to take your homer glasses off.Zero chance

I was there. That's your opinion. Stanford wasn't that good.
Did you see our offense? It was invisible. That eventually wore down the defense. It was 10-0 at the half without Holman. Stanford's defense was not impressive at all.
