She was good in the interview but within a few months it became clear she was under qualified. I started interviewing casually and eventually found someone who has done the work before and could be a good fit. They are starting soon but when I told her she would be doing other tasks from now on she got pretty upset.

Now she refuses to help her replacement get up to speed on 2 or 3 big projects we have going on. She still works for me, she should do her job right? Am I dumb for expecting her to care about these projects and the company in general after a demotion? I'm starting to think she doesn't care about what happens to the company at all. Like she's only concerned with herself and doesn't love this company and want it to be successful. Her refusal to work with her replacement on these massive projects could really hurt us here.

Also she wears way too much bronzer and lies all the time and all of the people that she hired have been arrested.

It's clear she doesn't have my company's best interest at heart right?

But she refused a paycheck right?*?*

You have to do whats best with the Company. If she has not made it to 90days i would let her go. if she has Explain to her your Expectations for the Company. Let her know That you expect more from all Employees. Especially in theses trying times..You need all on board helping each other...If a Employee cannot do that. they may have to look elsewhere for work.... Ultimately do what is best for your Company. You cannot dwell on a Problem Employee if sge continues to make mistakes..

When a big company fires or lays off an employee, it is usually coordinated to that they are given a few minutes to box up their personal things and go the same day. Their logons and passwords are deactivated and they are escorted off the premises.

This is done because some mean-spirited employees would like to vindictively do harm to the place on their way out.

my degree from ucf was in biology and not management. With that I said I own a small but growing business. I have been an entrepreneur since 2006. What I have learned about people are few things . They are not motivated by actions like you have done..Who here wants to be demoted and train our replacement?

The smarter thing to have done is bring in their replacement, have them train them then drop the hammer to demote or fire. I am sorry you are facing this. it's not good when people on your crew are not moderately looking out for the business interest. it's a sad but true commentary on many employees. They are truly out for themselves.

I fired an employee for not following our COViD protocols after had to close out business for 9 days due to an employee having Covid. Their selfish behavior could have costs us another 10 day quarantine and impacted all of our crew.

I wish you the best. sucks being an owner because the cold hard truth is nobody cares about your business like you do.

It just seems like she doesn't love my company. If she cared about the success of the org she would try to make this transition smooth but she maybe is a little selfish. To make matters worse she has been contacting some of my customers and trying to talk about how she shouldn't have been demoted and turning them against the company all together.

I should keep her on though right? I it's not too big of a deal that she is actively sabatoging the company.

This woman has CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS you know! You'd damn well better keep her on and tolerate her unwillingness to train her successor until after you taken the time and energy to carefully lay out for her -- IN DETAIL -- all the reasons why her demotion was, in fact, justified. Yes, you can try arguing that it's a huge waste of your company's time and resources and will harm your bottom line profits, but that's the breaks.

Are you sure one of the other employees didn't try to sabotage her? Are you sure you want to rush her out without knowing the truth?
Obviously she was working in a negative environment with her co-workers. She was doing her job well but because of her gender, everyone did what they could to run her out. I admire her drive to continue doing her job

The problem is the company newsletter is biased against her and is spreading disinformation. The McDonald’s collusion hoax is going to jam up your HR for months.

She sounds worthless, completely unqualified, and like a sore loser. There are probably a lot of really stupid people where you work who think she’s the greatest employee ever, however, and don’t want her gone. Maybe you should put it to a vote and see if she accepts the results or bunkers up. But there’s only so much of this bitchy shithead that you should take.

What a loser.

I've heard that she has spent alot of time at the water cooler trying to convince fellow employees that she wasn't actually demoted. The most unbelievable part is that some off them actually believe her despite the company wide memo showing her current lower position on the org chart.

There were rumors over Burger King collusion but the poor woman was framed by misinformation. Now old and dead managers are sending emails to fire her. Pretty terrible story. Even more managers than ever existed in the company complained to get rid of her. She was just trying to make the ice cream machine great again.
To be fair, she did grab all the guys in the break room by the penis, tried to build a wall between their place and the Mexican restaurant next door, built an oil pipeline through the Indian restaurant and speaks solely in superlatives.

I'd keep her around if she had a big set of, you know,.........hands

Since when do lefties care about abilities. You need to just keep your mouth shut and let here do what she does. You shouldn't have to work to get paid. This is CHAZ,

very cool. so are you planning on fixing the ice cream machines anytime soon, or is that just a cultural thing to pretend they're broken?

She’s an Arkansas 8 but like a California 3.

get off the internet and travel more. ugly women are more confined to the Northwest/Northeast where there isn't a culture of fitness and taking care of yourself.

Would you like your lanyard to have a unique design depending on the occasion or event that it is for? I thought about a technique that displays the Canadian flag when your friend is being honored or when your daughter's school gets an award. This is possible with the creation of custom lanyard designs. Each design has three or more images that can be changed to reflect the occasion. There are three main steps to creating a custom lanyard that I learned from https://lanyardsonline.co.uk/lanyards/nhs-lanyards/.

If leftist can pretend men are women than you should have been able to pretend she was qualified.
