However, I know the largest problem facing our country is our growing income gap, continuing shrinking of the middle class, shrinking chances for upward mobility, and stagnant wages for the vast majority of workers. This is all a visible, and quantifiable, failure of our current capitalist system. The money being earned is going right to the top, and it isn't making its way down to normal Americans.
If this doesn't happen voluntarily, which it certainly isn't, than it will need to happen through government regulation and wealth distribution. Otherwise, you will end up with a large class of people who finally realize they are being exploited, and you end up with violent revolution.
