I think the UN is useless and Putin and China see weakness in America . This scene from Team America sums up well I think what's going on today. I can see President Biden sending a very angry letter to Putin . 😆

Still one of my favorite movies from a very Libertarian duo.

What would FRUMP do, encourage Putin to follow the path of Hitler?
Trump is out of the White House. Quit deflecting. Seriously.

This is why Biden and his fanboys are getting critized. You guys are bringing up Trump now are only making the criticisms worse. Trump didn't start a war while in office.

I don't really blame Biden for this, but ... seriously, Trump is not in the White House.

THere are people all over the place acting like this wouldnt have happened under Trump, or Trump would have had a strong reponse, etc etc. If people are going to make those claims, it is a perfectly legimiate question to ask what they think Trump wouldve done.

Biden didnt start this war either, so Trump not starting a war is a meaningless point since Biden hasnt started a war either.

Agreed 100% yeah, Trump had the twitchy eye that may have made Putin think twice, but this whole thing transcends whoever may be in the oval office.

Yeah, I think it is silly for people to act like Putin was only held in check because of Trump. Putin has been in office for two decades, and this is by far the most bold military manuevering he has ever done. I dont think Trump or Biden factor into his thinking on this one bit. I think he is getting older and wants to leave his mark as being a great Russian leader, and the timing for doing something bold with regards to that is now, before he gets too old or passes on.

You were doing great until you went with putin getting older and wanting to leave a mark. We are trying to explain his actions away as being crazy or insane or not well thought out, but the dude is still a cobra.

It is a coincidence that Putin invaded before Trump and after Trump. 62% of Americans think Putin wouldn't have invaded. I'm in that the camp that Putin wouldn't know the response of Trump which kept him in check under Trump.

I'm glad we are not the face of this war though.

He invaded Georgia during Bush's term as well, and Bush obviously wasnt scared of going to war. Trump was only in office 4 years, to pretend that we know what Putin would have done had Trump won a second term, is just nonsense. Nobody knows. What 62% of American's think doesnt matter, at least in regards to what Putin would or wouldnt have done.

Putin was always critical of letting the USSR evaporate to the degree it did. I dont know if he is insane or not, but reports are the he is certainly more isolated than he has been in the past, and that his way of thinking has changed. There are certainly political components, but I dont know why you are so dismissive of how he wants his legacy to be perceived. Many of these nutjob type of tyrants are very concerned with how history is going to view them. The whole idea of being a strong man, is that people perceive you as being strong and bold. Well what would be stronger with regards to a Russian legacy, than re-establishing at least some of the Soviet Union?

The US Media was too busy saying W. was trying to go to war with Russia over it. It really pissed me off.

NATO would move a warship out of the Black Sea so the US Coast Guard Cutters could deliver humanitarian aid from the Continental US and the US Media would constantly lie about W. violating the treaty on number of ships, and acted like the Cutters were war vessels.

Has anyone actually seen the Cutters and their 'offensive' capability? This is why the US Media makes us ignorant.

It was kinda like listening to you Cubs. ;)
