Idaho and New Mexico dropped from Sun Belt

Anyone know why?

Coastal Carolina gets added July 1st to bring them to 11 football teams. Any reason why they would go to uneven number of teams?

I guess the reduction could be to consolidate the money each school gets per year and to help lower travel expenses and students time away from school.
