If Frost leaves per the Toribo report

life happens and it's not always good....but in every dark cloud there is a silver lining...

it's up to the players to finish this perfect season...and they can do it...the players only meeting was a fantastic move because these guys are now in control, and they know only they can make this happen....

to the players, this is a watershed moment in your college careers....what a great opportunity for you to stick together, step up as players and teammates, play to win and deliver on your dreams....you're a band of brothers and you need each other to win the biggest games of your college careers....right now, you don't need Frost, Chinander, or any of them...I'm sure that's what Rory and Shaquem told you...they know that when you win these games, it'll be even sweeter...you'll be the toast of college football...even more important you'll accomplish something that is incredible and come out as brothers forever......

and little to no thanks to the coaches who are leaving for your incomplete participation in this season and in these kids college careers.....frankly, see ya and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out....please only come back with your Nebraska team so that we can kick that same ass....and enjoy your 5-7 season at Nebraska while we go to another major bowl....

to the fans, let's all get out there tomorrow and root this band of brothers on.... .

It is about the players. I hope they can pull off a W and we kick the snot out of Alabama without Frost. The players are the legends. We will forget about Frost but we won’t forget about Hughes, Griffin, AK, Smith and others.

I'm sure Coach Beck is staying (well I'm not really sure because what if Frost offers this/his WHOLE staff a place in Nebraska with BIG MONEY? :-/

Based on that report he is and i'm not surprised. The pattern of his existence has was well established before Coach Frost arrived.

Yes, zero chance Beckton leaves for Nebraska. He was coaching at UCF even before O'Leary. He wasn't on O'Leary's staff originally. He coached high school ball until he was brought back on by O'Leary. I'm sure he had other opportunities, but I'm guessing he likes it living here more than he has interest in chasing assistant coaching jobs around the country. I hope the next staff retains him. He's a good coach and a standup guy.

Beckton needs a statue. It should read the following:

"This is a statue is dedicated to a true UCF Knight. It's a tribute to a longtime great player and coach who has been a leader and has set a great example of perseverance for young men. He has been a loyal leader and has cared about the UCF football program for decades. He was there to see it through the bad times and celebrate the good times. For that we will be forever grateful."

That's my corny post for the day.

Kyle Whittingham was a 10 year asisstant at Utah before named head coach. Beckton could have the same future...former player, former assistant, head coach.
Whittingham played for BYU but who's counting...

I hope Fisher can find a better mentor to help him with his career. Chins did little to further that.

Actually, THREE coaching reigns. He was here under Kruczek. When GOL came on, I think he and GOL had a minor disagreement and Beckton went to coach high school ball a few years. I was happy and pleasantly surprised when GOL brought him back.

Beckton REALLY shined during the 2015 disaster. He was all in for UCF after some of the staff walked away after GOL got fired. Beckton (and grad assistant Kevin Smith) are who held the recruiting class together until Frost was named coach...all without even knowing if he was going to have job on staff.

He has coached WRs (where he put numerous players into the NFL). He has coached DBs (where he again put numerous players into the NFL) and now he is a TE coach in the two years when we have probably thrown to TEs more than we ever have.

I really hope the new coach sees the immense recruiting contacts Becton has in FL and keeps him on staff.

Great win...I want to thank the players for focusing on this game and leaving it all on the field...you guys really are a band of brothers...now go kick some ass in the Peach Bowl....and you'll be, without question, the greatest G5 team ever....

to Frost, until today. you were a class guy but you made a really dumb decision.....it brought you down multiple pegs...so see ya and please don't come back, especially with your "I love UCF" BS as you walk out the door...you used to be a member of this family but, know this, you're not anymore...family members don't walk out the door....so now you're just another outsider looking in....... we don't care what you do at Nebraska, but looking at their schedule, good luck trying to even qualify for a bowl next year...

to Chinander, I've never been happier to see a DC leave...the last two games were a ridiculous display of your coaching ineptitude....recommendation, find a mentor and learn how to be a DC before you claim to be one....giving up almost 100 points and over 1300 yards in 2 games....says it all

to the fans, great showing again and, in the end, you helped this team win the game and stay undefeated

Good you got your boy...just know that he walked on this family so he's all yours...now go home to Momma and leave us alone so we can find some new family members who want to be here to take Frost and his staff's place....
