First off, right now, this would be a terrible time to be in the market for a new head coach. USC west and USC east will take any hot new prospects. UCF would also be competing with whatever programs those two grab coaches from.
The only glimmer of hope, IMHO, is if UGA fires Richt. He fits Hitt's bill of a zero tolerance coach, which while UGA has had a lot of problems with players getting in trouble with the law, those players don't continue with the program (no matter how good they are). If he hired a coordinator(s) that could recruit FL, UCF could get some really good recruits in combined with his GA connections.

While I agree with you, I just don't see Richt going non-P5. Or if he comes to UCF, he leaves within 2 years as he gets another offer.

Literally every Highschool coach in Florida could achieve better results than GOL at UCF. We'll be fine.
Really?! Why do you undermine your position with every post?
