I think the answer is pretty obvious

Nobody ever denied the fact that Hunter Biden got put on the board of a Ukrainian company owned by a scumbag. But -- as was discussed ad nauseam at the time -- it didn't stop Veep Biden from pressing the Ukrainian government to get rid of their corrupt AG -- who was looking the other way at all the rampant corruption going on there -- including from the guy who put Biden's son on his board of directors. If Joe was 'in cahoots with his son,' he would have backed off pressuring the government to get rid of the AG instead of continuing to push for it.

Do I like the fact that Hunter Biden was used as a political tool by a corrupt Ukrainian businessman? Nope. Kind of like I don't like Ivanka Trump getting sweetheart business patents from China while working for our government. But ultimately, the ethical question with both is whether or not they influenced US policy. In the case of Hunter Biden, it did not.
