More questions than answers from the spring about personnel...
1. Whose going to emerge as starting QB at UCF? Doubt Holman will be by end of September.
2. Will the offensive line be improved or replaced? I remember GOL put in a bunch of freshmen his first two years.
3. How fast can Frost get freshmen play makers (Hamilton, Killins, Bagnare, Snelson, etc.) into offense?
4. How many defensive line or speedy backfield recruits will be integrated immediately into defense?
5. How many players will leave team by end of summer? Probably low number due to coaches positive attitude.
If GOL was new coach, there'd be mass exodus but many will stick it out to graduate
My hopeful season predictions at this point:
1) The defense will be much improved and able to put pressure on opposing QBs.
2) QB depth chart by end of season will be: Milton, Kruczek (order could be switched).
3) A long term OL will emerge.
4) Season record will be between 5-7 and 7-5 with progression of team very evident.
5) Fans will enjoy new style of football with Frost calling the plays (remnant of coach K days) and be very optimistic about 2017

When our most productive TE was our punter last year... I'm not optimistic about a 6+ win season. I'm optimistic long term though.
Haven't gotten to Brandon yet (tomorrow's commute). It was great to hear from Kyle that there is some healing going on with the former players.
Also I agree with his take on the QB situation vs the OS.

at this point. It is 100% guesswork. We will be within 1-11 and 7-5 most likely, however I couldn't even guarantee you that. UCF is the biggest question mark in the entire country. We are a complete unknown. There are way too many variables.

Exactly! If we win our first game and beat 3 other teams with a new regime, I'll be happy. Typically in the history of college football, a new system gives you a worse 1st year followed by large improvements after that if the system and coaches are any good. Obviously we can't be worse than 0-12, so let's win a game and build from there. I'm a big fan, but I can also look from the outside in. Sometimes you just have to remove the UCF blinders even if it's tough to do.
