NY is so woke and so awesome.
So, in NY there are doctors delivering babies that are staring at a penis on a baby boy, and writing "we don't know" on the birth certificate under "sex". The first thing these babies are contemplating as they breathe their first breaths outside the womb is how severe their gender confusion is.

A minor point: your quote says for amending youth birth certificates. Not sure how that is interpreted but I’m guessing it’s any time after birth until 18 years of age.

What you just said, as it's established today, is not true either. I've read nothing that would prevent a couple from "assigning" their baby with an "X gender" while they're still and infant. Or a toddler. Or a 6 year old.

Your born a man or a woman. That is science. You can be gay, but you're still a man or a woman. Not sure why you're mixing those obvious items. Plenty of Democrats think gay is an issue too, btw. Go ask a southern black preacher.
I think for the most part everyone is fairly accepting of gays these days.
Global warming is a completely different subject. I'm more pro environment than your standard hacky sack playing Democrat that tosses garbage all over the place.

So gender can be chosen but sexuality cannot be ? Any person can choose whether or not their DNA has accurately given them the body they feel they should have, but they can't choose an activity because it's part of their nature? And somehow a parent that has given birth has the authority to document something that can change within days on a nonstatic basis over and over during the course of someones life. Why should a parent or anyone else for that matter be expected to speak for something that is as fluid as gender on a legal document? Should a parent have the authority to name a child? Is a name less transient than their DNA?
I guess that is a case where this x donation would actually apply. Assuming the chromosome makeup is standard, you're a male or female.

Gender is not sex though.
If someone chooses to identify as a woman, when they were born a man. Why do you care? They get one life - and that's a VERY hard decision for someone to make. Let them live their life to their fullest and you live yours.
Is there a 3rd form of human genetics that science hasnt discovered but a certain segment of society knows about secretly?

99.99999% of all of the people in all of history fit into one of those categories. A very small number of people have been born with neither or both and there are terms for that condition. Intersex isnt a thing. Its just a term that makes people feel better about their own struggles.
Me personally I don't really care for the most part, but there are issues just identifying to be anything in general. I would never say or insult someone though.
I do think this blurs the line of reality and make believe though. Can I self identify as a 75 year old and collect SS payments? Can I self identify as an Indian when I'm less than 1% Indian? Then the whole title 9 problem since any guy can be a girl now. What about any random dude going into the ladies bathrooms or showers? There are some serious things to think about before anyone can be whatever they feel and disregard science.
forms like that shouldnt say gender, they should say sex. sex isnt up for debate. sports should be based on sex and not gender.
What exactly is gender? I was brought up to believe that the term meant having one set of sexual organs or another. Was that wrong? Maybe just a mistake in vocabulary that existed from the inception of the term up to the time that the lgbt community decided it was incorrect . Why was the term changed? If it has changed, then what is the term for recognizing reproductive organs?
There's a woman running for President who self identified as Native American. Worked out great for her. Got ahead and prestige universities and everything!
