I know some want us to root for the AAC, but I can't help but be happy that Uconn, Cincy, Tulane look bad. (that is until Sat. hope we do much better)
App. St. beating Tenn. so far, and when I mentioned the AAC should take them in in expansion, some dumbass said "please not App. St."

Should App St win, doubtful really, they'll be ranked. Should Uconn squeak by Maine, by 3 they'll be embarrassed. Only a dumbass wants to be in a conference win an embarrassment as opposed to a ranked team. Sorry.

Rice, Big almost 12 finalist, getting pounded by W. Kentucky. Yet another possibly ranked team at the end of the year that you wouldn't want in the AAC. PS. the only reason the AAC is considered a strong G5 is because of the success on the field, not whether the team is in an armpit town or not. AAC barely beating FCS teams, the Sunbelt, the frigging Sunbelt, is playing toe to toe with #9 and close to being ranked. All we've got is Houston. Bring on the armpits and the national rankings. Nice towns are for tourists, I'd rather be in a more respected conference, barely beating FCS is not respectable.

Yes it is. People saying that it's a crappy town don't know what they are talking about. There are more breweries within a 1.5 hour drive of there than the whole state of Fla. I love Orlando but that area is better in a lot of ways.
I think if AAC were to expand I would have App State up near the top of the discussion not only for location but they also have a consistently good football team. I went to a game there in October once when it snowed though...it was awesome, but probably not ideal for FLA kids.
