I like to see what edits are done to wiki pages overtimes to see how thoughts and opinion changes.

This is now at the top of the page above the table of contents. For years, there was a blerb near the bottom about the criticism about the mythical national championship.

"Unlike other NCAA divisions and subdivisions, the NCAA does not officially award an FBS football national championship, nor does it sanction a playoff tournament to determine such a champion on the field."

I truly believe UCF has been the champions of a legit playoff that includes all 10 conference champions.

In an alternate reality? What are you trying to say?

It's super clear what I'm saying. It's clear that there is a strong push and desire for FBS to have a legit NCAA sanctioned National Champion. All NCAA National Championships have a playoff that includes all conference champions. This is what the NCAA makes rules about what constitutes as a conference.

It's my personal belief that UCFootball has been a catalyst for that change towards a legit playoff. I have been saying it for a decade here on Rivals.

ESPN and the powers that be of College Football could give two shits about the NCAA.

Zero chance that 10 conference playoff ever happens, but UCF has been a big factor in an expanded playoff sure.

I truly believe UCF has been the champions of a legit playoff that includes all 10 conference champions.

This is an extremely confusing sentence.

I’m with Mortimer… this sentence was very confusing upon initial read. Like we won an actual playoffs?

but I get it, UCF was the champions (advocates, proponents) of expanding the playoff

I champion many causes particularly at work. But nothing is more important than championing a legit FBS playoff.

Everyone has different associations with words. As a poster mainly on Sounoff, I choose my words wisely. Mostly to get people to think what is being said and understand the important of word choice.

For example, people say "big schools/ big boy programs" all the time. There is no bigger school than UCF. Notre Dame is one of the smallest.
