Sons of UCF: EXTRA: The UCF Knights Women's Soccer program, led by Head Coach Tiffany Roberts Sahaydak, is primed to take on the 2022 season. The Knights, coming off of an 8-7-1 campaign in 2021, have not made the NCCA Tournament since 2017. If UCF is to make some noise in their final year in the AAC, it will need a big contribution from R-Freshman Mia Asenjo. The season kicks off August 18th with a home game against the Florida Gators.

This team has a long history of success and needs to make a huge jump this year. They should be in the NCAA tournament more often than not. I'm hoping they have a great season. The boys program has very little history and has had a ton of success that last few years. Florida has a lot of talented youth players and UCF needs to take advantage and recruit the area better.

Fair assessment. Even with COVID disruption, 2017 is starting to feel like too long ago.
