I mean is Science seen as the best most objective academic discipline? I get math is the "purest" discipline but it does nothing by itself in a vacuum.
Here is my point. Historically Religion was seen as the absolute supreme objective understanding of the world. Bc of that governments were created to uphold Religious truths. Today there are very few theocracies. Have we come to accept that Science is now the absolute supreme objective way of understanding the world? If so, should governments be run by the best and brightest scientist?
