Isaiah Bowser is ready to shine for his final season.

The UCF running back transferred in last year with the intent of having a big year and moving on to the pros, but injuries limited his capabilities so he felt he would best served returning.

We caught up with the Ohio native following Thursday's practice. Here's a recap:

Bowser said he's focused on being the leader and handling himself accordingly.

How is everybody looking?

"I think it's going great. The team is coming along, all the transfers. We're really starting to feel like a team now. I'm excited for the season coming up."

On freshman RB Jordan McDonald:

"He's going to be really good. He's good already. He's getting a feel for the game and the run schemes we have. He's a real hard worker. You can tell he wants to be great. I'm excited for his future."

What's his mindset for his final season?

"I'm all in. Every time I'm on the field, I'm going all out. Trying to be the best I can be. Prove that everybody, especially myself. Give it my all. Go as far as I can and be a leader."

What feedback he received from NFL scouts and where he can improve:

"The big thing was staying healthy. I've been doing yoga and stuff for that. Speed, I want to get faster. I think scouts want to see move around faster. Pass protection. Really everywhere in my game. I'm not perfect."

He said he "feels faster" than last season.

Yoga makes him feel "fresh" every day.

What does he think of the QB competition?

"Those guys are ballin' every day. I'm glad I don't have to make the decision. That'll be tough. Those guys can both play. They're both moving the ball down the field. They're both leaders. The offense trusts both of them to go out there and get the job done. They're really good players."

What's his outlook for the offense?

"I think we're going to be one of the best offenses in the country. Explosive, a lot of big plays. I don't see us getting stuck, not being able to move the ball and pick up first downs. I think we'll be able to continuously move the ball."

He was asked about the defense "dominating" the first scrimmage.

"I wouldn't say dominate."

He then talked about needing to get one back on the defense in this Saturday's scrimmage.

"We can't leave no doubt. Offense has to come out and take over from the first snap."
