Woops, I mean "workplace violence".

Seems pretty clear that 2 Jihadists showed up to the free speech event intent on killing a lot of people. Thank God we had white racists cops with evil AR15's there to counter their attack and kill them. (How soon before a group calls for the cops' arrest?)

Now, we sit back and wait for the left wing to claim the group sponsoring the Mohammad Art Contest deserved this and that we should really amend that 1st Amendment to not offend Muslims. Oh wait, it's already begun.

Twitter is a dark place sometimes...

saw one tweet that said, maybe you people should stick to France...

Saw one on reddit that said, my favorite drawings at the art show were the chalk outlines...

Yea, well, it's true. French police are just now realizing that it might be a good idea to carry firearms. They're going out to buy 5,000 rifles as we speak for this very thing.

If our police had the policies of France in January 2015, and that pesky 2nd Amendment were scrapped, we'd have hundreds of dead people on the news today.

We all knew there would be more shootings at Wal-Marts when Texas passed open carry.

My favorites are the ones suggesting a "Draw Jesus" event, to illustrate some point. I'm 99.9% confident that "Draw Jesus" event would not incite any violent reaction. Moreover,
I can guarantee that Christians around the world would immediately condemn any violence if it did take place.

On the "workplace violence" front, I was at Ft. Hood recently and someone there said they reclassified the "workplace violence" there as an attack and the victims will receive their purple hearts.

Pamela Geller has more balls than every single pusswad media "journalist" who claims they believe in the 1st Amendment yet wouldn't even show pictures of the Charlie Hebdo staff holding the magazine cover with featured Mohammad. Even after they were slaughtered.

And yet, the media stories on the acclaimed liberal sites are already pondering why Pamela Geller is such a MEANIE! Instead of demanding that a large % of a major religion stop declaring that it's ok to kill people for a drawing, they're declaring that Pamela Geller is a villain for choosing to exercise her right to free speech in a non-violent way.

Nobody is declaring her a villain. They are declaring her an idiot, which she is.

It's telling that your contribution is this, rather than condemning yet another terrorist attack over cartoons.

Let me guess- you think she had it coming and deserved this attempted mass murder. Yes?

I lump her in the same category as those nuts out on ASU's campus. She could really careless about freedom of speech, she just wants to spread hate.

No, that would be ridiculous to think she had it coming and deserved an attempted mass murder. Only an idiot would think up something like that.

LOL

So drawing cartoons is "hate"?

It's interesting that liberals don't blink an eye when severely disgusting and offensive things are written, said, and drawn about Christianity yet suddenly they re-discover "hate speech" when people are drawing cartoons in free speech protest against a deranged, violent sect of the world's largest religion.

I guess it's only "hate" when there's a terrorist network threatening to kill people involved.

Drawing cartoons is not hate. Comic-Con doesn't hire a SWAT team for security.

Having an event in which the sole purpose is to insult and denigrate a certain religion is hate. Hard for a FoxNews disciple to distinguish, I understand.

We poke fun at Mormons , Christians, Jews, Gays, Lesbians, Straight people, I see 0 reason to leave Muslims off the list.

Except that the goal of these terrorists isn't to kill a few people over cartoons. It's to foment anti-Muslim sentiment and strengthen their position.

We all know this. It's 100% what they want. It totally works. Who are the idiots?

Uh, they could just as easily do that by striking randomly, anywhere, and killing people.

They are specifically targeting people and events connected with drawing their prophet.

You're way off base here.

Under the edict of a group of people who know exactly what they're doing. It's not a random act of Islam, it's part of the directive. We do our enemies a service by believing otherwise.

There are a number of reasons why random terror attacks by tiny independent cells is not as effective as targeted attacks that fit a narrative, but you're smart enough to figure them out on your own.

If they want to hold these types events, then they should go out in the middle of the desert and have fun. They should have to protect themselves. No police officer should have to risk their life to protect these idiots who want a holy war.

Yes, let's banish people to the desert so they can exercise their First Amendment rights.

smgdh

Tell me something- did South Park want a "holy war" when they tried to air the Mohammad episode?

For the record, this is also a stupid opinion.

Interesting that the same people who gave the Book of Mormon rave reviews are the same ones claiming Geller is an offensive, dangerous jerk.

I guess to liberals, complete mockery of a particular religious view is only acceptance, so long as no one is trying to kill you for it.

In short- they're giant flaming f*cking pussies.

The police that were there were off duty and being paid by the organizers. I think I read about $10k for 40 officers.
