It's all about the $$$

This is a good thing for UCF. ESPN doesn't want to honor the contract because they are hemorrhaging money. These TV partners dont want to pay more but are going to be forced to.

They may not like any of the expansion candidates, but they aren't stupid, they will attempt to influence the choices to those who will be watched the most. That's why I think we are in a good position. Our growing alumni base, growing market, and good TV numbers in the past make us hard to pass up for the Memphis's of the world.

I love my free TV and smart TV. Cable and satellite companies are doomed.
They know this and aren't making long term plans. It's like Microsoft that
packaged all the add-ons into its' operating system and bankrupted competition.

Once again, we are getting into the party late and may not get an invite to this one.
Even if we do, how long before it falls through?

This is why I find the streaming service UCF is experimenting with to be very interesting. It could potentially help UCF make up a lot of lost revenue.

I'm pretty selective on my sports TV watching lately so just streaming UCF games and
receiving a few national games on regular channels would fit my needs.

Good by cable companies and all those re-occurring monthly equipment fees!
