He was an interception machine for us and had plenty of speed and size. Perhaps they needed a better tackler. Hope he catches on someplace.

From a starter earlier in the year, because of injury, to cut. Sorry, but that was a stupid move. They hardly gave him any time. This is the first year he really was on the active roster (yes a game or two last year), and he showed promise. He's been beaten a few times, but a year or two more work, just look at Bouye who was recognized as the best CB of the week- look at the UCF page on CBSSports.com, or our probably greatest- Asante Samuel who was ok for a few years then turned into an INT machine. He wasn't playing that great and he lacks size and speed. He was burned badly on multiple occasions. NFL teams that aren't doing well can't afford to keep a guy on the active roster as a project. They saw something that we aren't even aware of.

He should have stayed in school another year. He said he was going to gain another year of experience, but then he changed his mind. Mistake imo.

He has a kid, may have motivated him to go to the NFL early for the $. He looked bad in the packers game last week, he was covering devante Adams for some of the night and Adams put up a monster stat line. I'm sure someone else will give him a chance

This is just wrong. I don't base my like or dislike of an NFL team based on whether it has former players from my school. And for that matter, just because a team has a player from my school isn't going to make me watch them.

And for that matter a place that I only spent 4 years at, does not define me 20 years later. It is just lame how much some of you put such emphasis on it. Especially with a bland, non-descript school that has little relevance outside of central Florida.

Glad he's back on the practice squad. That's most appropriate. However, I think his fake "uncle" runner was as much of a motivator as anyone to turn to the draft.
