It’s what happens when a team does everything possible to attract a fan base that never materializes.

Unfortunately Jax was hobo on arrival, such an ugly shit city not enough people have enough money to fill the stands.

They are starting to draw. Just have to keep winning. Too much has to happen for them to move to London. It’s a logistical nightmare for the NFL and TV. It’s not just about moving to another city in the USA. Even that takes time. It’s more than just an owner wanting to do it. Players may not want to. There are travel issues, immigration, housing, etc. They have to practice in England as well.

Additionally a team doesn’t just fly to London a day before the game. Then there are the Thursday games. They couldn’t do any. Nor could a team playing one after playing the Jags.
How many hours is a west coast team from London? 10? 11?

No offense Duval Knights but it has to be one of the worst Pro Cities to live in for an athlete. Yeah they have beaches but it's a pretty boring town that is lacking a lot even compared to Tampa for example.

It would take having the NFL expanding at least 4 cities in Europe. To create another division in which they play 8 games against each other and then they would have to all be in America for 4 straight games and then the American teams would have to do 4 week road trips there and play them all in a row. Scheduling would have to change a bit as it wouldn’t make much sense to only play one team and then return home unless you are going into a bye or coming off one.

Also, the time difference is a lot. Ratings could suffer. Maybe west coast cities wil watch games at 9AM PST. Maybe. That means all games in London will have to be at 5PM or later. It’s about an 8 hour time difference.

They are "moving" to London but for a max 4 games. It makes sense for Khan. 4 games in Duval. 4 games in London. Then in a few years Khan will be asking for stadium upgrades for his 4 games in Duval. When they balk, it's on to Orlando.

They wouldn’t have to play early if he owned stadium. We only played early because there were soccer games that were more important. If he owns stadium the Jags game would get the prime time slot which would be around 3pm here? Not that much different.

Wonder if they would do better in Orlando than Jacksonville?
I like the current pro team situation in Orlando bc I think that benefits UCF but Orlando's failure in luring more pro franchises has always been a headscratcher.

Even though Tampa Bay's market is technically larger Orlando feels more 'urban' and busier & I would think has a younger average age that's more active and would spend dollars on sports. Jacksonville feels like a small town in comparison.

The problem is that UCF isn't P5. Orlando gets the shaft by having no P5 schools or NFL.
