I put on low profile Smitty anodized flares on the front and back. I had no problem finding aluminum inner flares to replace the plastic stock ones that I had to remove. I cannot find replacement inner flares for the REAR. Are there other Jeepers that have a suggestion? I can trim down the existing inner flares, but that would mean the front would be aluminum and the back...plastic. :weary: I cannot believe I am having trouble finding REAR aluminum inner fenders/rock guards.

Not that you're one, but I love Jeep/Hummer owners that trick them out like the apocalypse is coming. Just so they can drive back and forth to work and Publix. Snorkels, gerry cans, 6 ft jacks, If you can read this flip me over tire covers, ... Kinda douchey iyam.

Mopar doesn't sell them? Greenway right there on 50 has a lot of Jeep aftermarket parts. Might wanna try them.

There's a guy in my community who has 35 inch MT tires, 3 inch lift, bully bar with winch, fog lights above windshield, and a customer step bar. However his Jeep is never dirty and looks like he waxes it every other day. He uses it to drive to work and back it seems.

Mine is simple. I upgraded to the 32 inch Mt tires and leveled the front.

Simple is best with jeeps, imho. Effers uncle and cousin have some seriously jacked jeeps they go rock crawling with a few times a year.

How's the noise with your tires 85? I need to get new ones on my truck soon and I want to level the front and put on bigger tires but with all the driving I do I keep convincing myself to just stay with the stock street tires.

I'm going for a simple/practical design. Low profile. I hate a shit-ton of lights all over the thing. I just have two off-road lights on the bumper, that's it. But it is also my toy. Every man has his toy (no innuendo intended).

Yes, I do trail. I often go to Merritt Island and a couple of the forests around here because I'm into doing natural Florida scenic photography. The national forest near St. Johns River is pretty good. I put on simple, black steel rims. If you catch a rock, it's easier to replace a 100.00 pro-comp rim instead of a 400.00 alloy laser-cut rim. You can tell the folks that don't actually go off-road because they get the 400.00 Fast and Furious-looking douchebag rims.

Believe it or not, Mopar sells no such thing. Just the normal ones that don't work with the fit of the rear fenders. I would still need to cut.

I have absolutely ZERO stickers on my jeep. I hate that crap. My ranger? Yeah, I have college stickers and a band logo. But...it's a truck.

I also can't stand the douches that call other people douches for having a hobby and getting outside.

Where do you go in Merritt Island? I have a little pretend Jeep (Patriot) that I use for hunting trips and going into the mountains. Little trail fun would be nice close to home.

LOL. Driving around the woods isn't exactly "getting outside". It's driving. Get out of truck and hike, run, bike or paddle. That's getting outside.

STFU, you don't even know what you are talking about. We hike, camp, fish, kayak at the Indian River lagoon, bike. We hang out with other people and have fun. I own a kayak. Where have you kayaked?

Have you done both legs of the Chatooga? Nhantahala?

Do you dare question my "outdoorness"?

Hippies aren't the only ones that like to go outside, but you can't get far in a damn Yaris. Smh.

I go out there for photography. One of the bands I'm in (Swampwater Heathens...shameless plug) uses a lot of Florida imagery. If you go closer to the Seashore, there is a trail for 4-wheel drive vehicles only. I'll have to find on the map and post here later after work. Gets back into the thick, sometimes it's closed, depends on how much rain.

I swear I've seen them somewhere on line . I'll ask some friends that are hard core jeep clubbers and let you know

I'll even have it made if needed. Not that there are a lot of rocks around, but I don't like sand getting kicked up...and I don't take my jeep mudding also. I like it too much. I just do the trails. I only have 33-inch MTs and a moderate 2.5in Teraflex lift.

Lighten up Francis. I never questioned you outdoorsmanship. Just merely stated a fact that driving a vehicle in the woods isn't getting out in nature.

I commend you on all you've accomplished outside it's quite impressive, although all the shit you listed I checked off about 20 years ago.

Congradu-****in-lations. I can give two shits, piss, puke, and a peanut. Unless you know where I can get an rear inner fender...go write a manifesto. Damn buddhists...

Last time I checked, if I step outside of my jeep and there are trees around me in the middle of nowhere, I'm outdoors. I don't need to be swimming in mudbogs, chewing oatmeal bars and singing Kumbaya.

They're for sure noisier than street tires but I don't find them to be overly annoying. I accepted that things will just be louder in the Jeep. They really aren't bad in city driving but can get fairly loud on the highway doing 70 mph.

My front left tire had tread wear down and that was REALLY noisy.

My commute to work is 5 minutes. If you're driving long distances daily then I'd probably stay away from them.

I telecommute...so...my biggest worry is tripping over the dog.
