JJ Worton Signs with the Rams

Lesson I hope he learned is to stay out of bars. UCF hiding under a car - strike one; Boston getting into a fight - strike two; three strikes your out.

If he must, go to a bar and grill with friends and after reasonable amount of drinks and a meal go home.
Otherwise, stay home because past experiences say you've got a target on your back.

Just looked at his competition; he has good shot on Rams roster. Also, Hall could do well for Cleveland.

He seems to be such an underrated talent. I hope he gets a chance to play because he had some of the best natural instincts that any receiver at UCF has ever had. I don't mean raw talent, but ability to get open, read the defense, and amazing hands.

He needs to be serious for a year or two at this point. But, man, what good is being in the NFL if you can't party with the gold diggers?

But in Cleveland they are all young and Hall has slight edge with knowing the NFL. Also, he was catching everything in Tampa but seemed to get cut because of the height of their other receivers. In Cleveland, his height wont be an issue. We'll see.

Both have lots of talent, have great hands, and are also offer excellent skills on special teams and breakaway return guys. That could help them obtain a place on the squad until they can play their way onto the offense.

It strikes me how making the NBA is so different from reaching the NFL. UCF has had almost three dozen players with multi-year careers with the NFL, but if you can't latch on to a team within a year or two, it's pretty much over no matter how good an athlete you are.

On the other hand, UCF has had only one player drafted in the NBA's first two rounds because of the small squads and our relative lack of success in basketball. But we had about 20 players go on to lengthy careers overseas because every major nation has several pro hoops teams. That''s obviously because nobody plays American football abroad. Conversely, top players from other nations fill a major percentage of NBA squads but not our NFL teams.

There are quite few countries that do play "American" football, tho it might not be as popular or successful as basketball. Germany used to love it, and our ex-QB played in Russia. We've had players going their since the 80's (not including the old World League.)
