Yeah, it fishtailed pretty regularly. A heavy engine with a fiberglass body, 435 hp and a hard partying 16 year old from rural North Carolina were a dangerous mix.

I think it was 1984 that they revamped their suspension. Since then, they practically stick to the road. You can get retro kits for earlier models that help a lot but they are pretty pricey.
