The pope spoke about abortion, same sex marriage, Obamacondoms too. He's the Pope, that's why he was invited, not because he was going to talk about global warming and evil capitalism.

Boehner had his hands tied. There was nothing he could do when you have the party of no controlling the White House and throwing hissy fits in the Senate. The progressives and far left still hold the country hostage even if they don't have the majority. I'd love to see the government shut down again, they don't do anything worthwhile anyways. He couldn't let that happen though, it would ruin any shot for the GOP to win the WH. The 47% believe everything that Obama, Clinton, Pelosi and Reid say, he wasn't going to win a he said/she said with them over a government shutdown even though they are the ones that would cause it.

Insecurity. Their positions are so shitty they latch on to anything they can twist to suit their mood, regardless of probably holding a deep hatred of the Pope's main objective: Christianity
Does that invalidate his common message of social justice? His warnings on the dangers and wrongs of wealth inequality? His shared concerns on man-made global warming?
