In mid-December, I connected with former Lyman LB Tony Jones who just finished a standout freshman season at Butler CC in Kansas. He was taking an unofficial visit to UCF because there was some hope that he might be eligible for Division I right now.
I reconnected with him today and he says it turns out he was not eligible right now, but he's hopeful that he could perhaps be eligible after the spring. He's going back to Butler in a couple days for the spring semester.
