Oh, how soon we forget.

Last year we lose a game we should have won to PSU and blown out by Mizzou. Started 0-2. Finished strong after week three.

We will be fine. Was it easier to swallow last year since it was PSU and not FIU? Maybe. But this FIU team.. I bet they beat PSU.

And Mizzou beat us as bad as Stanford.

8-4 or 7-5. No worse. Bowl (albeit a shit bowl, but still a bowl).

There's no reason we cannot keep our winning season streak going, and build ourselves into the Boise State of the east. No reason we cannot, we're just 15 years later than they are.

We will get Holman back, get the younger players some experience, win 6-7 games (maybe 4-5 or 8), maybe make a bowl game and kick ass next year.

GOL will coach this year or next and that will certainly be it. The extremists will get their wish only to call for the head of the new coach after the first bad loss or season that doesn't meet their warped and unrealistic expectations. That's what extremists do.

I like the positivity but the game play isn't as good as it was last year. There has been a noticeable difference in execution. A prime example of that is Will Stanback.

This FIU team that Indiana spanked would beat the PSU of last year? AHAHAHAHA, please tell me more! Before blowing the doors off FIU, Indiana escaped with a 48-47 win against FCS Southern Illinois. Every time I sarcastically call FIU an FCS school you people jump all over me telling me how good they are and they are the cream of the crop when it comes to FBS. Tell me, how does Indiana spanking FIU make our season hopes better?

Sure there is, there is a 70-year-old reason on the sidelines. You continually use this argument about a 15-year head start. I thought in college football you have a 100% new team every 4 years. That argument was void after GOL's 4th year. GOL started his 5th season with all his recruits 4-8. How very Boise like of him!

This team is no way close to last years squad. If you recall we had 4 solid receivers that helped our young QB make plays last year. We had to many dropped balls against Stanford. You can't lose JJ Worton, Perriman, Hall, and Reese and expect to bounce back the next year. We will be lucky to go 3-9 this year. UCF is just way to young this year.

Uh? I guess you didn't watch the game. I didn't either but talked to my FIU coworker. He said FIU had the lead in the 4th but were down by 7 with 5 minutes to go. FIU had the ball near the end zone to tie the game. The QB got hit and the errant pass was a pick six the other way. Thus, why the score looks lopsided. But, whatever, who cares. I know I don't. Just wanted to add that tidbit that FIU was not spanked.

FIU doesn't suck. They are better than years past. We didn't lose to a bunch of scrubs, but should have got away with an ugly win at the end. Stanford was all about an injured QB and a badly timed fumble

That's the season so far. We are what we are. 0-2. We could easily be 1-1 with a lot closer Stanford score or even a win and be 2-0. The sky isn't falling as much as everyone thinks.
