And y'all support violent insurrection against the US government. So, we win that one, too.y'all are more obsessed with Trump than his own supporters lmao
100% i do. crazy story, its actually how this great Nation was foundedAnd y'all support violent insurrection against tyranny. So, we win that one, too.
You know they tried repeatedly for nearly 50 or 60 years to work with the king. Finally they had enough and Thomas Jefferson wrote a nice break up letter. It didn't come to violence quickly. They were patient trying to work it out.100% i do. crazy story, its actually how this great Nation was founded

I have said it before and will say it again. Those idiots at the Capitol should be held accountable to the law and the idiots fire bombing the federal courthouse should be held accountable. The idiots in the Chazz zone should be held accountable. All of this protesting and such that ends in destruction of property is not what the First Amendment is about at all. what so many forget is we are about equality under the law not equality of outcome or equity in wealth. When the rule of law is no longer applied evenly then you have disenfranchisement. You have two standards and a system set to fail. We are witnessing it now.
Like really, really cringeworthy bad.I watched this guy's opening statement and it was pretty bad. Like really bad.
Exactly, which just proves the whole thing is a waste of time and nothing more than political theater. Why would Schumer prioritize this? It looks really bad for both sidesLike really, really cringeworthy bad.
But it doesn't matter. Trump could have Cheech and Chong as his lawyers. As long as Trump has a jury that doesn't give a shit, it's all a show -- and a waste of time.
When the Senate won't convict a ex-President -- for insurrection -- for crying out loud, a Chief Executive can literally do anything as long as he's got the Senate in his pocket.
Bad for both sides? The Senate GOP is turning a blind eye to an insurrection for crying out loud!!!!Exactly, which just proves the whole thing is a waste of time and nothing more than political theater. Why would Schumer prioritize this? It looks really bad for both sides
Yes. It looks bad for both sides.Bad for both sides? The Senate GOP is turning a blind eye to an insurrection for crying out loud!!!!
Trump's lawlessness makes the Watergate cover-up look like a walk in the park by comparison. Geez, what was up with THOSE Republicans? I guess knowing right from wrong and loving your country first and foremost meant something back in those 'good ole days.'
These lawyers were good (and cheap I hear).
Not really. One group supports a violent coup attempt and hates America. The other is the party of personal responsibility and accountability.Yes. It looks bad for both sides.
The Republicans in Congress have been complicit from the beginning. One group supports a violent coup attempt and hates America.
Republicans are the weak party. The party of appeasement. They should change their logo from an elephant to a portrait of Neville Chamberlain. The Republicans in Congress have been complicit from the beginning.
It started a year ago last spring when Trump said that the only way he'd lose was if the election was stolen from him. The Republican response to this BS? Crickets.
That refrain was repeated over and over again throughout the summer and fall as the polls showed Biden winning. The Republican response? Crickets.
When the AP declared Biden the winner - the same politicians who used that declaration as a confirmation of their own victories said, "We need to wait on declaring the outcome until Trump has exhausted his court appeals."
When those court appeals were all exhausted and the outcome remained the same, 96% if those cowards STILL remained silent as Trump continued his bullshit 'stolen' lines.
Their silence contributed to the Capitol attack. But those same 50 Senators are going to operate as a fair and impartial jury?
So yes, under these conditions, the trial is a waste of time. Nevertheless, it's necessary in a country that believes in personal responsibility and the rule of law.
Or an inmate picking up a bar of soap from the floor of the prison showers.Republicans are the weak party. The party of appeasement. They should change their logo from an elephant to a portrait of Neville Chamberlain.
