I have to say I'm pretty disappointed in Holmans leadership tonight. At points when times got tough, he seemed agitated and upset with receivers and at one point seemed upset enough to yell at one of his WRs. I can look past the one speed bullet passes and lack of vision, but I'm surprised that a QB with such a lack of leadership was given the reins considering O'Learys focus on mental toughness. Makes me think we are in for a long season.

Holman wasn't that bad, his decision making and play calling let him down. We tried to run too much which halted any momentum and he didn't do a good job of reading the field. Too many times trying to force the throw instead of going to something underneath or tuck and run.

Holman and Aiken were the only bright spots of this team. pick something else to bitch about, like the terrible playcalling.

I'm not sold on Holman. Yes he's talented, but not sure he knows where and when to go with the ball. I'm not sure he knows what he is looking at and what plays he should switch to. Now, I 'm not saying this game is on him buy any means. Our lines are really bad on both sides of the ball. Give FIU credit. they played one heck of a ball game.

Holman is not Bottles, but I think he's the 2nd best qb we've had in the GOL era. The problem is not letting him do his job. You don't need a qb if you are just going to run the ball.

I still think it was 80% coaching and play calling last night. :)

Holman looked good. To say otherwise is just reactionary and uninformed. Holman and the WR crew were the bright spots. We suffered, obviously by these groups:

1) coaches
2) offensive line
3) linebackers
4) offensive line
5) offensive line
6) runningback, probably because of the offensive line

Being second best in the O'Leary era isn't saying much. I did say he was talented. He's just missing the IT factor that Culpepper, Bortles, Schneider, and a couple others had.

Our biggest problem by far last night was we couldn't block or get off blocks on both sides of the ball. Stanford is going to be ugly.
