Justin McBride Transfering

heard that a lot of these players loved the UCF nightlife a little too much more than actually loving DJ, he just let them run a loose ship without much discipline. Not what you want from the #2 revenue team on Campus

If he is a man you should man up and say it to him and not on a message board.

Just make sure I am there to yell "World Star" when you are picking up your face.

I think the Tub of shit comment was probably a bit harsh but this is a message board after all. But a child? Really? You have to admit that was a bit over the top

Probably a bit harsh? You think that looks great for recruiting targets to see those comments about a former player? The guy was a very nice player to fans. Not a guy a constantly getting in trouble.

Actually I don't think that anything said on this board means anything to any recruit. All these kids grew up with the internet and understand how it works. People say stupid stuff and make stupid comments. None of it means anything.

Comments from a poster like Stetson who is always spewing trash on here? I'm not sure he cares about UCF

You know you are dealing with internet dumbasses when people here are more offended by a guy calling a college kid a child, than the guy calling the kid a tub of shit.

You know you are dealing with an internet dumbass when he see offense taken when there was none. The point was the implication made when you accuse someone of insulting child rather than an adult. When that "child" is 20 years old 6' 10" 325 pounds. Just call them out for calling him a piece of shit, but don't try and shame them by calling Justin a "child".

Actually I think he said "tub of shit," not "piece of shit." I am assuming "a tub" makes up multiple singular "pieces" of shit. Unless of course, the tub is only small enough to hold one single "piece" of shit. In which case, using the term "tub" is totally inappropriate and a bit harsh.

You're right, DJ only called him a big kid at the Victory Club luncheons in front of Justin and the Sentinel only ran an article about him be a big kid.

And that makes him a "child" and thus making criticism against him in someway worse than say calling GOL a drunk old liar? Again I am not condoning the comment, I just think that trying to make him out as some vulnerable helpless person is not legit.

Justin is not vulnerable, but making fun of a 21 year old student athlete is beneath me. I just want Stetson to walk up to Justin and get dealt with.

This is the same board whose posters trashed Marcus Jordan for not returning for his senior year, after sacrificing his body for three years of punishment and changing roles without complaint. He was our top defender as a frosh. The next two years he alternated from driving the lane, being a 3-point specialist, and dishing out assists. So I'm not surprised that Justin receives mixed reviews. We don't know if he was advised to transfer to free up a scholarship or if he was told he wouldn't fit into the new system or have a backup role in his senior year. He knows he needs PT if he wants to play abroad and ever have any chance at the pros. Alternatively, he may have received feelers from a p-5 school needing an experienced inside game. Why must we assume a convenient story line without facts. Justin was the reason we won several games over his career and he was the team spokesman and bench cheerleader on a team with little other emotion or leadership. We'll miss you Justin and wish you well.
