Gators WR Shorter cleared to leave hospital

Florida receiver Justin Shorter has been cleared to head home after being hospitalized with an injury in Thursday's bowl game, while receiver Jacob Copeland announced he is transferring to Maryland.

Now that he was released and all is well. I'll comment on the play. It was a strange play it appeared he lunged forward trying to catch the ball when they collided. On Twitter many of the Gator fans were upset the play wasn't flagged.

From what I could tell, our DB didn't launch himself, in fact the WR lunged into the defender while trying to make a catch.

It appeared that way to me. It was a scary play the way he dropped to the ground and did not move. Glad he is ok.
