With all the griping about what UCFAA is doing wrong in the other threads, I'd like to point out something they did right for a change. Today in the mail I got a really great invitation letter from MTodd for this year's Kickoff Lunch in August. Not an email, but an actual letter with a signature. Most years in the past, all I've gotten was an email, and sometimes it was sent to another person in my company who had nothing to do with organizing the lunch group. One year, I actually had to track down the right staff person within UCFAA to even get the right information. Basically, it's been poorly organized and had given the impression that it was almost an afterthought to actually invite people to this event. Crazy, right?
Well it looks like they got their act together this year. The letter was a nice semi-personal gesture (yeah I know it's a form letter, but still), and I thought it was much more professional than in previous years. Good job, UCFAA, and Charge On!
