sounds like either Babers or Matt Campbell trashed UCF constantly during his visit weekend to their school

Even though the Daytona Beach Mainland running back was taking recruiting trips to Syracuse and Iowa State, his UCF loyalty was strong and he said the more he got recruited from other coaches, the more he felt compelled to keep his commitment to the Knights.
"There was a lot of negative recruiting," Killins said of coaches, whom he did not name, trying to belittle his UCF choice. "A lot of schools were selling me on what they can do and what UCF can't do. Some would ask me things like, 'Why UCF? They were 0-12 last year,' stuff like that.
"There were a lot of negative things. When coaches are recruiting kids to their school, I don't think they should put down another school just to sell theirs, especially if a kid is committed to another school. ... That's not a way to get at a kid to make him change and commit to that school. It shouldn't be that way. They should just talk positive about their school. So yeah, coaches did do that."
Being committed to UCF and hearing negative things from other schools certainly rubbed Killins the wrong way.
"It was annoying," he said. "That's not going to sway a kid, putting down the school that he is committed to. I just really didn't like that."
