1080:
Iowa State assistant basketball coach Kirk Speraw joined Jerry and Mike today to talk about facing Wisconsin and how to defend such a strong offensive team.
What jumps off the page first when you're trying to defend Wisconsin's offense which has become one of the best in America?
"You have to stay focused through the entire possession first off. They are very patient. Everyone thinks they play slow. They take the shots when they have them. They're actually playing faster this year than they have in any of the previous years since I've been up here. They'll score in transition, early in the shot clock and when they have opportunities to score. At the same time they're patient enough and very efficient to take advantage of scoring opportunities. The thing that's most difficult about them, they don't turn it over and all of them can shoot the ball from 3 and they can all create their own shots. When they're defense breaks down and it gets late in the shot clock they can all go one on one and they're very good. That's one facet of the skill set that each of them have that I don't think people appreciate enough."
