It was a great Knights game last night!
Even though it was a 6:00 p.m. game, was hoping for more fans in the seats. Where are the students that don't have night classes? Students that were at the game were quiet. Our environment is missing the Rowdy Knights!
It was kind of an overall strange environment. Zero half time entertainment.

Valentines Day is an odd day to schedule a basketball game. Don’t know if it was a big factor in attendance but could of had some effect. If we go on an NIT run do the fans start showing up again like last year?
Yes, thought about whether the fact that it was Valentine's Day also had an impact on attendance.
Previous home game vs. Houston: 4,301. Home game vs. Cows: 4,310. Consistent at least. Saturday's tip time vs. SMU is 11 am. Higher or lower than the above ... or, push?! TT
Lower. Kids have sports of their own on Saturday mornings so families won’t be going. College kids sleep til at least noon. If we were real good it wouldn’t matter but people aren’t excited about this team right now.
Why do you think people aren't excited? The Dawkins era is a big improvement over the Donnie Jones debacle. Team is at the same point as last season's NIT run ... and doing so even with a lot of injuries. TT
Lets be fair - the 13-0 football run didnt respond in more fans attending games until South Florida.
That said final home games with SMU and Wichita State show big potential for good attendance.
The best script we can ask for is Wichita State and UCF winning the rest of their games before meeting each other at UCF CFE Arena on 3/1.

Dawkins and Tacko hurt. Plus people will wait until an NIT big game at home before they show up.
