Latavius Murray was perfect for O’Leary’s system, and he’s obviously had a very solid professional career.

But damn, for those of us that were in college at the time and lucky enough to watch Joe Burnett play, he was an absolute electric factory. He had a moment or two in the NFL as well, but his career was never really able to fully take off. I’m so happy for him, have always thought he was kind of forgotten in UCF history, coming directly before the modern eras of AAC dominance. Combo of both one of the best defensive backs in school history, as well as one of (if not the) best special teams players ever.

Way to go Joe!
