KZ on South beach Sessions

Basically supporting athletes choice to choose and shows support for them not participating in meaningless bowl games. Doubles down on draft and desire to play in the NFL.

I just finished listening, it was good (but I’m a Le Batard fan). Also talked about the trials and tribulations of his injury and recovery, as well as Otis Anderson. Half of the price of the tickets of the Hula Bowl go towards some fund relating to him.

I certainly hope for the best for him, but not even I could put shine on the ugly FSU year. Here's hoping he doesn't shy away from some developmental league and get a year or so rust knocked off.
I don’t think he’d be a starter in another League.

I believe having the opportunity to go through the draft process alone could pay dividends for him in the future as a coach. The perspective and contacts gained would be valuable regardless of potential success in the the NFL. Win win.
You think he even gets invited to combine? He wasn’t even best QB on his team. I don’t see any NFL teams where he makes the practice squad.

Probably the minimum bar for success would be to make a 90 man roster and play in a preseason game. The CFL or new USFL could be options

I don’t either. It was going to be an uphill battle even before the injury.

But, I am still thrilled he was able to see the field again and will cheer for him in whatever we does.

So, you're saying that after Milton's 2019 non-injury career, had he stayed, he would not be invited over:

Kevin Davidson
Jacob Eason
Anthony Gordon
Brian Lewerke
Jordan Love
Cole McDonald
Steven Montez
James Morgan FROM FIU, FROM FIU? (via Bowling Green, Syracuse) That's really what you're saying. It would be 'an uphill battle' to beat a C-USA QB to get invited to the Combine.

I'm not saying he would have been a draft pick (13 were drafted 5 of invitees not drafted), but you have got to be kidding me he wouldn't supplant 1 of these. Yes NFL is a size queen league, but I doubt he wouldn't be invited, (non-injury). Unfortunately, no way now, not after ugly FSU year.

I was agreeing that he is unlikely to make a practice squad right now.

If we were fortunate enough to see him continue on the same path Uninjured through ‘19, I agree he’d likely be at the combine - but still only see him making a team as an UFA.

the only way I see the NFL happening is if his legs come back since it is more time post injury …was a step slow at FSU and lost his balance a lot

His arm isn’t strong enough anyway. This is probably his last time on tv. Needs to go into coaching.

Agree… a healthy Milton means we would have likely been undefeated 2 years (beat LSU) coming into 2019 with definite CFI talk all year.
No way the starting QB for that team is not invited to combine.

We know non intentional but what happened to the player that hit KZ forget his name. I know he got alot of threats but after the play you could see it effected him.

My question is.. if you can't name the damn team the guy is/was on how the heck can you mention anything about him? It's basic info.

(and yes, I know I have a better chance of getting drafted this year. Would love to know if any Knights are getting attention pre-draft this year)

This has sort have felt like the ‘McKenzie Milton Bowl,’ as the former UCF quarterback returned to the ‘Bounce House,’ his home for four seasons before finishing his career at Florida State. The decorated quarterback has a well-documented gruesome knee injury, which nearly ended his career. McKenzie has shown off his arm strength during his week in Orlando, showcasing the ability to make all the throws. During his time with the Black Knights, the Hawaii native totaled 8,583 passing yards and 72 touchdowns in 33 games. While height and durability concerns may limit his pro options, Milton has the makeup of a future head coach based on his smarts and leadership qualities.

Unfortunately he looked pretty bad today. Hard to take much away from a game with guys who have never played with each other before, but his arm looked shot, he wasn’t very accurate, and that last pass just slipped out of his hand for the game ending INT. Look forward to see him in coaching.

He didn’t look himself all season at FSU either.

Sad to hear - he deserved a better finish at his home :/

I hate to say it but KZ didn't look very good today at all and I don't think his play today helped him with his dream of the pros. That being said, I will always be a fan!
