DISCLAIMER: The nine (9) total and two (2) top 25 teams in '17 assume Memphis drops out, and Navy isn't re-ranked (could be 10 and 3, respectively).​

Take-away: The Big East teams were overranked (had trouble beating even non-top 10 teams in BCS bowls) while the American teams continue to get under ranked (let alone by the CFP).

No, it actually proves how the rankings are BS. We're beating far more top 10 teams in the post-season! The Big East had trouble doing that.
