I don't see where we get to 5 wins this time around. I am so tired of this crap. We peaked with grandpa. He cannot take us any further. We need to cut him loose along with all of his assistants. We need new blood before we completely kill what has been built over the last 4 years.

Wow. I didn't know we had so many short-sighted, whiny fans. Oh wait, i already knew that. We were never going to get into the college football playoffs so let's see how we look in week 5. I thought an overachieving team would be 8-4, with 5-7 the low end. We looked like a team playing a ton of new players. OL wasn'T OPENING UP ANY HOLES OR SUSTAINING BLOCKS. LB play was atrocious. Stanford and south carolina are going to dink us to death across the middle, on top of overpowering us. We excelled at making mistakes in all aspects of the game tonight, both on the field and the coaching off the field.
Btw, i especially love where you say to fire O'Leary so we don't completely kill what has been built over the last 4 years. Wasn't he the one that built it?

That was also a year where we employed two qb's. 2006, 2008, 2011. All crap results when we played multiple qbs. All other years, all things considered, we produced solid records. We've been a solid team when one guy has played all year. Not saying we're going to set the world on fire but we're going to see how our new OC and DC handle the pressure...and quick because we are likely 1-3 going into conference play. Baptism by fire for sure.

Just once why can't we be the team that wins the games we are supposed to win? Until we get rid of GOL we will forever be this way.

We're supposed to be among the top five G5 teams regardless. Were you saying FIU is better than us this year all along?

FIU did have a pretty good defense last night. We knew that going into the game. So UCF is in rebuilding year and FIU looks to be on the upswing. Last night's loss put a dagger in all of us. Back to reality and being a UCF fan with dumb losses like last night. At least now my expectations for the rest of the year are low. Any win will be a good win. Its going to be tough seeing my FIU grad coworker today. I'm going to be eating humble pie today!

Hey we maybe due a win over a P5 team though. That same year we went 5-7 and lost to FIU we also beat Boston College. So there's a chance that might happen on the road. The big college football picture at the moment is Conference USA getting some big victories out of conference whether its Western Kentucky or FIU. Fox Sports Radio called FIU's win an upset if its any consolation about our national perception.

I'm adjusting my expectations now, where I'll actually be pretty content with a 6-6 season with a bowl appearance.
