Donald De La Haye was a kickoff specialist last year as he had zero FG attempts and was 1-1 on his only
PAT.
Matt Wright, after obviously having his first FG attempted blocked to end FIU game...he went 13-16 for the rest of the year...including a stretch of 8 in a row...and never missed a PAT last year.
I hope De La Haye works more on trying to get touchbacks and/or higher kicks near goal line vs so many social media videos...which don't seem to earn his PT scoring points as of yet.
My lord, can't the kid have some fun without anybody critiquing him. It's summer, let him have fun. The season will be here soon enough.
If the center snapped the ball in the air and he did this flip kick to kick the ball out of the air, would that be legal?
What were our stats last year- do we really want touchbacks anymore? It seems at least 2 years ago we were better off kicking to near the end zone and tackling them well before the 25 yard line the touchbacks get. I love seeing the opponents start on the 10 (which happened several times 2 years ago at least).
During a Field Goal or PAT. the ball has to touch the ground before being kicked.
