Turned it of five minutes in, clearly I can’t connect with people who have no work ethic.

Just ponder this list of responses and consider what braindead absolute dipshits these people are

Yeah, the working class in this country are such lazy bums! Their leaders have the gall to say working class families should have access to affordable health care and not have a medical emergency bankrupt them. What a bunch of moochers, right?

Warren went on record as saying she’s eager to ban private insurance that 190 million Americans currently have and like, all for the sake of her leading a government takeover of 1/5 of our economy and nationalizing the health care insurance and delivery systems in this country

But nope, she’s not a socialist! No way!

I would think that any answer can be correct because it's just an opinion, but the answer would have to actually qualify as being geo-political. Climate change doesn't qualify.

Natural resources are a major factor in geopolitical relations.

I get that. But just saying "climate change" without at least tying it to a political structure isn't really an answer. If they had said "Chinas approach to climate change" then it would have been geo-political.

You’re a fan of the guy that wants to give $1000 a month to everyone?
Bigly; Trumps been fun. If (when) the Dems nominate anyone other than Yang (or Tulsi, lol yea right, the tribe doesn’t allow alleged anti war folk, she’s still a CFR member so an insider), I’ll still vote for big bad evil racist meanie Drumpf again

Actually I thought Tulsi Gabbard was the clear winner of that debate. She may move up in the polls and have a shot.

Gabbard’s relationship with Assad didn’t come up but she is buddy buddy with him. That will sink her.

You're not voting in the Democrat primary. She's universally disliked by the people who make the decision.

Probably true. And that's why Trump is going to win again, the Democrat party has clearly moved WAY too far to the left to beat an incumbent when the economy is doing well. I thought she came across well and has positions that could win the independent vote. It's going to be a tough sell when the democrat candidate tells millions of people who have private insurance that they can't choose to have it anymore.

The best part of last night was Colbert actually being funny again. He completely roasted that debate. If you didn't watch his monologue, look it up.

That wasn't the question though. It's embarrassing that these nitwits are so committed to virtue signaling about climate change that they actually listed that as THE top geopolitical threat to the US. At least a few of them listed Russia and China.

One single person listed Iran - the country who has killed more Americans since 9/11 and the count is into the thousands. The country who is bombing ships in the world's largest oil shipping lane and shooting down American aircraft.

I mean, Jesus Christ. These responses are pathetic.

To me, there are 3 answers that would be easily defended: Russia, China, and Mexico. Iran would be a distant 4th but hard to claim as an existential threat. Any other answers are pretty thin and easy to dismiss.

I would have also taken Radical Islam, given that the threat of terrorism worldwide is still higher than ever. But that would upset anti-Semite Rep Omar surely, so that answer was off the table.

You would have a much higher likelihood of someone saying zionism and western imperialism than to ever call out any radical muslim group.

Zing!(s)... while we're talking fantasy land, what's next electric cars being a thing?

Elon Musk, February, 2017: “I think we’ll end up doing universal basic income . . . It’s going to be necessary . . .There will be fewer and fewer jobs that a robot cannot do better. I want to be clear. These are not things I wish will happen; these are things I think probably will happen.”

You cant say the Dem party has gone too far left on one hand, and then praise Gabbard on the other. She is as left as anyone running and was one of the few Democrats in office who actively supported and endorsed Sanders over Clinton in 2016.

Gabbard is both far left and a morally repugnant jackass who met with Assad as he was in the middle of killing hundreds of thousands of people, did so without clearing this or telling anyone in the US Government, gave cover to him by refusing to admit he has used chemical weapons on his own people, and then refused to call him a war criminal when asked this past March.

I didn't watch the debate but is this as close as they had to an American flag on the stage?

Since the presidential debate isn't an official Government event, I don't feel like there's a need for a US flag. IMO, it would be a nice tribute but not necessary. Especially since it is a symbol of oppression and will offend so many of the people in the audience.
